Spanish speakers, how do you say congratulations?

friend has won an award so just want to say congratulations in Spanish

is it below and do you use ! at both ends

From my admittedly rusty Spanish yep that's how you say it I think. Definitely with ¡ at the beginning and ! at the end

Felicitaciones is correct but if your friend is Spanish, "enhorabuena" sounds more natural. Felicitaciones tends to be used in Latin America in my experience.

My Spanish relatives and friends sometimes seem to use enhorabuena, I see them use felictaciones for birthdays though I think.
