I went to local sainsbury earlier and have forgotten my purse, so was trying to pay with my phone on self check out, security guy comes over and asks if everything’s alright so I say yes, just trying to pay but as it had rained fingers were slippery and the thing’s not working. Finally manage to do it and he starts ranting at me about how he would ban payment through the phone as there are loads of payments that get rejected afterwards and that if it was him he’d banned the whole thing and went on and on and on, now I rarely use my phone to pay as I usually have my purse with me, and literally will go in that place pretty much everyday, sometimes twice a day, so he knows me and i’ve never had a problem with paying there before. I understand what he says, but if they accept these payments then go and moan to someone who gives a fuck, you ranting twunt!!!! Argh, he really got my goat earlier, especially not sure it was his place to go on at me like this... he said if god gave you a credit card and a pin, then use the credit card and the pin Hmm
and breathe...

Obviously having a bad day and passed it on to you! Some people are just a ray of sunshine aren’t they! Grin

He’s a security guard, he needs to get back in his box and actually do his day job of looking out for shop lifters. He definitely shouldn’t be ranting and raving to customers about their choice of payment methods and he’s certainly in no position to have any influence over Sainsbury’s decision to accept mobile payments. I don’t think I could be arsed to complain but your rant is definitely justified. Deep breaths!

I was so dumbfounded I kept smiling at him, even when I swore at him under my breath Wink
