I thought she was so very glamorous. What a sad few days.

Me too. I loved Rough Guide.

She was about the same age as me, I thought she was so cool and I loved the programmes she was in. RIP

What was the illness she was suffering with?

No idea, the report I read just referred to get having been receiving treatment recently.

Gosh she can’t have been that old, either. Late 50’s?

She was so cool, I loved her style.

Sad news I always thought she was the epitome of cool London loved her image and watched Network 7 avidly as a provincial teenager. RIP

Oh how sad, she was mega cool to me as a teenager. Didn't she only ever wear black, red or white?!

Oh gosh, I was at school with her- she was a couple of years below me (obv not under this name), always a bit quirky. Makes you so aware of how you're ageing when more and more of your contemporaries go.

Bloody hell! That is very sad, and unreasonably young. RIP Magenta.

My youth is long since past but this makes me very sad. It’s one thing to realise your youth has gone but quite another to see the gorgeous and glamorous figures of your youth depart this earth. That’s too final . RIP Magenta.

I longed tobehalf as cool as her. She managed to be understated And larger-than-life at the same time.

I remember once they were in Rio on a beach full of beach babes in thongs. She had on a black one- piece and looked so self contained and quietly confident while the bikini babes vied for the limelight.

I loved her on Rough Guide. I was properly shocked when I saw this today.

Rough Guide really opened my eyes to travelling she was so London hip to me in my little Northern town.
