Can you take on the Rightmove escape room challenge? Or: WTF is going on with the street view on this listing? See also: constantly staggered at the price of living in London, both morally and financially.

I made it out! Blinking into the sunlight confused as hell.

PaintBySticker · 06/03/2019 19:13

Yes that’s a lot of money for a tiny flat but you get a share of the freehold and a great location in Westminster.

What’s wrong with the street view picture?

Hmm
PaintBySticker · 06/03/2019 19:14

Oh, now I see!

Yes that is a bit odd LOL

PaintBySticker · 06/03/2019 19:14

Yes, morally???

DitzyPrints · 06/03/2019 19:15

Made it out - that’s very bizarre

polloppllo · 06/03/2019 19:22

My friend lives in that block. Full of fuddy duddies. The communal fee is astronomical. They spent ££££££'s a year on lobby flowers.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 06/03/2019 19:24

Kitchen walls have me mesmerised... send help, wear shades... tell my husband I love him very much...

whitehalleve · 06/03/2019 19:36

Ha I live on this road! That's Shepherds restaurant on the ground floor.

cwg1 · 06/03/2019 20:07

Wow - isn't that where Hercules Poirot lived ??

PrismGuile · 06/03/2019 20:39

I don't get it - also that's not even a studio really as the kitchen is seperate. It's lovely

PrismGuile · 06/03/2019 20:39

Wait... I'm morally wrong for living in London?

notanothernam · 06/03/2019 20:42

Wow look how much they've lost since just 2017

Barrenfieldoffucks · 06/03/2019 20:47

If I were single and rich I'd quite like it

Ohyesiam · 06/03/2019 20:51

What does everyone else see on street view? I got a nasty conference centre dining room with an odd vibe.

Muddlingalongalone · 06/03/2019 21:02

I love the space & so central. Wonder what I can do with the 8 & 4 year olds...

Squickety · 06/03/2019 21:07

Confused
ShakeYourTailFeathers · 06/03/2019 21:12

Nice little pub near then (Royal Oak?) DH and i used to meet after work when he worked in a building on Millbank

Saw Amy Lemay in there once.

CailleachBheurh · 06/03/2019 21:23

That is a bit odd but I'm absolutely floored by the price of that flat!
I was moaning the other day about the price of houses around here but you can buy a gorgeous 5 bed house and an acre of land for £400,000 here

ALargeGinPlease · 06/03/2019 22:05

Made it out, but got a bit claustrophobic and panicky, half way through!

elibee · 06/03/2019 22:10

@PrismGuile I think op meant that the people charging that kind of price for one tiny room are morally wrong

PatriciaHolm · 06/03/2019 22:45

How very odd.

Brings back memories though - I lived in a very similar flat in Blackfriars when I first moved to London!

HankNPat · 07/03/2019 05:20

"What does everyone else see on street view? I got a nasty conference centre dining room with an odd vibe." Me too, how peculiar Confused

That flat is an ideal London pied-à-terre for an out-of-town MP.

claybakefan · 07/03/2019 17:51

It's dropped in price from £530,000 in 2017!
