Husbands big birthday present

I got DH a birthday present and by chance just had a conversation where it turns out he doesn’t want the thing I bought. He doesn’t know I bought it.

It was quite pricey so I’m happy to take it back as I’d rather he has something he’ll really like.

But now I’m stumped. People have been asking me for suggestions and I’ve basically given all my good ideas away. (I swear no one has thought of their own present - I’ve done everyone’s thinking).

Inspire me with your 40th pressie that went down well! Please!

Ask him?

I have and he’s just either vague or so specific that I’ve passed the idea on to someone else as I’ve had that many people asking and thought I was sorted.

Got OH a designer jacket he loved. Hard to judge when you don't know the person.

I got DH a photography lesson where he went with a photographer and wild camped in the Lakes. He climbed a mountain, camped and then got up stupid early to take pictures. He loved it! Me, I want dinner at a Michelin starred restaurant!

What's your budget? My family got DH a rally driving experience and he loved that too.

Up to about £200.

An Experience is a good idea!
