Finally a diagnosis of autism a few days before 16th birthday.
Has not attended school since aged 13, (should be doing gcse exams shortly.)
No education at all, whatsoever since aged 13.

What happens now?
Has an interview at local college for hair & beauty course which will start in September.

It’s very unlikely that she will attend though, so what now? Does any one know?

No advice but following, my DD was diagnosed just before GCSEs and is currently coasting her way through a college course after getting one GCSE, I worry massively about her future but we are getting no input from anybody!

Thanks very much.
So it looks like no help from no one if forthcoming.
So she has no future.

We have 2 with ASD. 16 and 14. and I really worry too. 16 DS hasn't been to school for 6 mths and 14 DD will only go occasionally!
CAMHs have been involved and have a therapist working with DD. We also have the social work disability team . You should ask for an assessment from them, they have got both of ours involved with youth groups and therapies such as equine therapy and there my be other things in your area.
We also have a carer's centre where I have been given help from. Have just been given a free week's holiday in a static caravan through them.

Good luck with it all.
