I read about a lot of lemon and sugar but didn't see anyone else mention butter, lemon and sugar? This is what we had when we were children and I LOVE it - once it hits the hot pancake it all melts together to make almost a sauce - delicious!
I am Irish so maybe it's more a thing there? Or maybe it was just my family!
