What's in your handbag?

I'm in the market for a new handbag. I love the look of the bigger hobo style bag but I don't seem to carry much around with me these days as my kids are older. Don't need to take any work stuff with me either so I don't really need the space, I just like the look of them.

So, what's in your everyday handbag?

AllGoodDogs I have a vanity case at home with my make-up in and a smaller make up bag that I take out with me.

Rather chuffed that my very small bag has such a lot in it. Mascara, several lipsticks, tube lip salve, several hundred loyalty type cards, small purse, a (hopefully) winning lottery number!, mirror, little diary, phone, emery boards.

It is a black two department bag with gold chain and black lasercut front from.....ta da! Primarni!! Had it years!

I was waiting for an appointment earlier and having a rummage through my bag and found a couple of loose spicy Nik Naks Confused

Too flipping much. But I don't know how to cope without it anymore. I don't have a consistent other clothes or bags to put this stuff in.

Wallet, trainpass, businesscard set (credit card size thing, but useless will remove)
Work keys (my home keys I can hide in the garden!)
2 different work lanyards
phone
spectacles
several pens & pencils
watch
magazine to read (something to do on train)
sugar free sweets (end of long day, treat commuting home)
2 types of painkillers
work parking permit (large thing flat)

  • today, work ipod, free hand-sanitizer spray I will probably never use. I keep 4xgloves, snood & bike lights in jacket!
Millie2013 · 07/03/2019 20:58

Typically
DD’s inhaler, this one lives in my bag permanently
DD’s water bottle when she’s out with me
A snack to chuck at DD when she’s hangry, usually a bag of mini breadsticks (which I often end up eating when I’m hangry)
Purse
Phone
Hand sanitiser
Chewing gum
Hand cream

I try and clean it out fairly frequently

PiggyPlumPie · 08/03/2019 07:35

AllGoodDogs of course not, I only buy spicy ones Wink
