Book Extract

I would like a book extract read out at my father's funeral. Does anyone know of anything suitable? I love A A Milne but they are very short. Thanks!

Can you find something from a book he particularly liked?

My lovely dad was many wonderful things but a big reader he wasn't. I don't think I would find anything meaningful in a Jeffrey Archer or Tom Clancy book!!

The end of the book where it talks about leaving them there is lovely (cant' remember if it's Winnie the Pooh or House at Pooh Corner). Adn there are some lovely passages about friendship between Pooh and Piglet.
