How do you find motivation/ambition/drive?

I have (so I'm told) a real talent for something that could be a business opportunity. It wouldn't make me a millionaire but it's something I enjoy doing and could do from home but I seem to lack any drive needed to start a business.
I love the idea of it being my job but always
Make silly excuses for not doing it when people suggest that I should. I'm pushing 40 so fell like it's now or never but something is stopping me from taking the plunge and I'm so frustrated with myself!

what do you do for a living at the moment? If you already like it, then one thing might be that you'd rather stick with what you know, especially if it comes with sick pay etc.

I work part time in a job that has zero prospects and low pay but it fits in with my husbands job so we don't need to worry about childcare. It's definitely not a love of my current job holding me back.
