Can you use it on an electric hob?

Wouldn't recommend it - you're not supposed to breath the fumes, hence it's for ovens. Try boiling water and fairy liquid and a hob friendly scourer.

I use it on my gas hob but only after doing what Sarahlou suggests (to remove any really stubborn bits).

I did and it worked well BUT had to ‘burn off’ the smell after. Also, it takes off any of the symbols / writing on your oven / hob so be careful! Happens to mine all the time because i forget

I did mine last week - the hob was really messy. Used the spray all over the inside and the hob. Waited an hour or so while I took the kids to school. Cleaned it up - fantastic ! I was really happy with it.

Thanks guys, I think I will use some fairy liquid as SarahLou suggested as cant really chance it. Moving out of my rented place and want to keep my deposit!
