It was Freecycle, not FB or EBay, but the best I've seen was a 'chez lounge' (chaise longue)

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 18/03/2019 18:12

I had someone on a local group today selling a “selection of plates and bowels”.
Oh how I laughed!

When people put 'from a clean home' Still waiting for the alternative seller here. 'from a filthy rotting home' so why bother stating clean in the first place.

LilQueenie · 18/03/2019 19:43

a year or so ago someone was selling a handmade full size coffin on fb.

I've genuinely laughed out loud at these. I love this thread.

Babyes leggins

Bloody hell why don't they check the thing before they post

Because they're functionally illiterate and checking makes no difference. The prevalence of it is shocking really. (Only a proportion of it can be dyslexia.)

Still, when I left EXH and started from scratch, I got some wonderful eBay bargains by searching misspelt terms Grin I can't say "ratatouille" would have occurred to me though.

Linzbe · 18/03/2019 21:43

@fog and @billy no idea why anyone would have them, make them? One of my friends messaged them (not seriously interested obviously) but she's yet to get a reply!

PersonaNonGarter · 18/03/2019 22:07
