Tomorrows Dinner

Tomorrow is my favourite food day of the year, pancake day. So pudding will be pancakes. For me dinner will be savoury pancakes. I need ideas of nutritious but yummy dinners for dc before they attack pancake mountain. I normally do veggie chiilie or tuna casserole but that seems a bit heavy.

Pancakes for both dinner and pudding here!

In reality, the girls will probably have sausage sarnys then tuck into a mountain of pancakes.

I'm busy planning what to have on mine...really fancying cheese and onion, I think!

Homemade chicken, noodle and veg soup. Followed by pancakes.
When I was a kid, we only had pancakes on Pancake day for tea, nowt else 😊

I was thinking of doing something with smoked haddock in pancakes - maybe a cheese and chive sauce. Followed f course by pancakes with lemon and sugar or maple syrup.

Usually pancakes all the way here. Ham and cheese, followed by banana and grated chocolate, or Nutella. Eat really healthily the rest of the time.

We just have sweet pancakes for dinner.
I have made crepes cannelloni in the past but it was too filling.

So double pancakes then, I'll ask them if they fancy that. Could do mushroom and cheese for savoury, I guess it's a kind of omelette.

Just pancakes here. Selection of savoury ones - ham & cheese, cheese & leek, leftover pulled pork, beans and cheese (don't judge my DD4!) and then sweet ones for after.

Contemplating doing American style ones for breakfast when they wake up.

It has to be savoury pancakes followed by sweet.

We start with a salad (many of our meals do) so that DC get some veg.

DH and I like mushroom and tomato in our pancakes but the DC prefer just the ham and cheese and perhaps fried egg in theirs.

Leeks and goats cheese is a fab combination with a scattering of walnut pieces.

I doing a shop at lunchtime to buy things for topping pancakes. Not really in line with the spirit of Shrove Tuesday!
