I'm so fed up. My parents separated 30 years ago but my dad is still bitter about it despite remarrying and being with my stepmum nearly 30 years now.
My mum lives in France but comes over to help me with childcare during the holidays. I'm a LP with a fairly useless ex so I really need the help covering holidays.
Every single time my mum comes over my dad throws a strop, says he's being pushed out of any relationship with my children, is very jealous of my mum's relationship with my children etc.
So we sat down and had yet another conversation about it and it was agreed that he and my stepmum would come for tea on the first Monday of the month. Well guess who didn't turn up today?
