HELP!!! I need to shrink my jeans!!!

Hi all, I'm hoping you may have some suggestions.

I've been a bit of an idiot today. I had ordered 2 pairs of jeans because the jeans I have are literally falling apart.

Money is really tight as we are trying to pay off debt just now so I've been making do with minimal clothes for months and months and I got a bit over excited when the parcel arrived. I tried the jeans on, they felt a little roomy but we're fine I thought. Well, i took the tags off and have worn them for a couple of hours and they are most definitely too big.

I need to make do with these now and I feel like such an idiot for not realising before I took the tags off. Is there anything I can do to shrink them a little, without ruining them?

I don't have a tumble dryer.

Can you not return them? Even though the tags have been removed they are unworn aren't they?

I've returned unworn clothing minus tags and had no problems.

Where are they from?

i find jeans feel loose because the waist is too loose so i sew little tucks in the waistband and it seems to pull the jeans in

Panic over. I called topshop and just said I had accidentally removed the tags and they said that on this occasion, they'll let me send them back 😅
