Any link between these symptoms? Or anyone else experience this?

Or is it just how I’m made?!

I am constantly cold, always need an extra layer or two compared to anyone else. But then I get very, very hot, very quickly the minute my heart rate is even slightly elevated. So I have noticed on a train/tube for example, people will be sat in their coats/hats/scarves whilst I have taken all my layers off otherwise I’d be dripping with sweat. In the gym, I am always the sweatiest person, even a low impact exercise like walking on the treadmill at a slight incline I’ll be mopping away my sweat every couple of minutes.

My heart rate always seems very high as well, I think my resting is average but a low impact exercise gets my heart rate up to 160+.

I’m about half a stone ‘overweight’ (which I’m working on) and reasonably fit, I run 5k a couple of times a week and workout in the gym. My fitness has improved recently which I thought would help with heart rate/sweating but it hasn’t. I’m 32 so no menopause and I have been like this for as long as I remember.

Does anyone else experience this?! Every now and again I worry there could be something underlying but it seems silly to book a doctors appointment. I feel I spend my life constantly putting layers on and taking layers off trying to regulate my temperature. And let’s not even mention the chub rub!! 😩
