Ok so I haven’t even passed my due date, but I’m soooo fed up 😫. My son was 5 days early and I stupidly half expected this little cherub to be. Is anyone else feeling my pain so close to their due date? My midwife told me he is 1/5 palpable and his ready to go, but the little pickle is refusing to budge 😂 xx

I remember very well going 6 days over with baby number 3. I was so uncomfortable and I felt liked if I sneezed she would fall out as she was so low down for days. I also remember not being able to move for the last few days and had to be saved by MIL driving 200 miles as I just hit a wall. It's a distant memory now and these days will become.memories for you too soon!

Have you got help at home? Xx

My dc3 was born 3 days before due date, my easiest birth, 5 hours from start to finish. Maybe today is your day Flowers

My third was 13 days late. I was in agony from severe SPD and sciatica (only had it very mildly with my second and not at all with my first), on crutches and with a brace on.
Could barely move anywhere Sad and was booked for an induction. He came naturally the day before.
Hang on in there, it’s going to be so worth the little tiny cuddles Smile

My oldest was 9 days early and I hadn’t even got my bag packed so stupidly assumed that my second would be early too so my bag was ready to go weeks before my due date and he ended up being two weeks late.

Almost 19 years on I still remember all too well how horrible it was waiting. I stopped answering the phone to my mother as she was calling every couple of hours to see if anything was happening and I well remember being in Sainsburys and seeing my friend who just looked at me and said “Oh Madison...” in a sympathetic voice which made me burst out crying.

Having said all of that, when he eventually decided to arrive he wasted no time and was born 49 minutes after I went into labour and very narrowly avoided being born on the hospital car park.

Oh massive sympathy. I remember what that’s like so well. My first was two weeks late and had to be induced. I swore I’d never be induced again.

Second was two weeks early - fine.

Third - approaching due date, got nervous, kicked up a huge stink about refusing to be induced. Finally persuaded by them agreeing to still let me have a water birth. Two weeks over, went into labour the DAY BEFORE induction whilst at the park with my other children Hmm

Hang in there. It really can happen at any time.

I'm due dc2 in five days and am similarly fed up.

I've been obsessively checking this stats website on my likelihood of going into labour-

https://datayze.com/labor-probability-calculator.php

Only a 29% chance I'll have had baby by this time next week Sad

SoyDora · 04/03/2019 13:53

My third was 12 days late after my first 2 being pretty much ‘on time’. Longest 12 days ever!

snowone · 04/03/2019 13:55

I'm due tomorrow with DC2.....went 5 days over with DC1 but it's still soul destroying just sat here waiting!! SadSadSad

Sexnotgender · 04/03/2019 13:57

I had number two 4 weeks ago at 42 weeks, I was utterly demented but didn’t want intervention!
