Damn windy tonight. There is a Jet2 trying to land at Birmingham Airport, but going round in circles at 5,000 to 7,000 feet. Other craft circling for ages too. Interesting watching where they will land.

Oh dear I would be very ill and a bit screamy if I was on that flight.

Also now watching! It's only a.little aircraft too - must be scary!!

There's a Dublin-BHX flight which looks to have been over my house quite a number of times, and it's still circling. It left Dublin 1hr 20 mins ago, it's only usually around a 40-45 minute flight.

A couple of diverts...

Aer Lingus went to Stansted, SAS to Newcastle and a Flybe returned to Edinburgh.

Has the Lufthansa plane landed at Birmingham or aborted it’s landing and taken off again!

My app seemed to show that it had overshot the runway and then the app froze. I have a very basic version.

That won't be the app. It will be the transponder on the aircraft

Just watching Manchester Airport and seen a flight from Prague pull back up at the last second.

Although now the app is saying it landed, so ignore me.
