Damn windy tonight. There is a Jet2 trying to land at Birmingham Airport, but going round in circles at 5,000 to 7,000 feet. Other craft circling for ages too. Interesting watching where they will land.

Oh dear I would be very ill and a bit screamy if I was on that flight.

NorthernBullet · 03/03/2019 21:42

Also now watching! It's only a.little aircraft too - must be scary!!

MadisonAvenue · 03/03/2019 21:51

There's a Dublin-BHX flight which looks to have been over my house quite a number of times, and it's still circling. It left Dublin 1hr 20 mins ago, it's only usually around a 40-45 minute flight.

needthisthread · 03/03/2019 22:41

A couple of diverts...

Aer Lingus went to Stansted, SAS to Newcastle and a Flybe returned to Edinburgh.

VanillaSugarr · 03/03/2019 22:45

Has the Lufthansa plane landed at Birmingham or aborted it’s landing and taken off again!

needthisthread · 03/03/2019 22:49

Landed. Why do you think it's abortedz?

VanillaSugarr · 03/03/2019 22:52

My app seemed to show that it had overshot the runway and then the app froze. I have a very basic version.

needthisthread · 03/03/2019 22:52

That won't be the app. It will be the transponder on the aircraft

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 03/03/2019 23:03

Just watching Manchester Airport and seen a flight from Prague pull back up at the last second.

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 03/03/2019 23:04

Although now the app is saying it landed, so ignore me.

Teanocoffee · 03/03/2019 23:05

@OVAgroundWOMBlingfree i think i heard it. Im not to far away from the airport.
