Am I having a miscarriage?

I’ll start with some info to avoid drip feeding and apologies for TMI

I usually start my period anywhere between 20th or 25th of the month (never gone back to clock work after birth 3 years ago!)

Usually have typical symptoms, emotional and sore tender breasts (last two cycles). Have always had bad cramps and heavy flow with a few little clots/ stringy bits?

Discharge is usually non existent couple days before period is due.

Went through February gearing up for my period to start, 17th started cramping , sore breasts and insatiable appetite took it as I’ll start on 20th. That came and went cramping stopped and breasts remained sore and tender. 25th came and went and. Noticed increased discharge (sorry tmi) and started wondering?

Thought perhaps recent stresses have delayed even further than the common weeks difference. Friday morning (1st March) I took clear blue digital tests both negative.

Yesterday midday sudden bad cramping whilst walking round shops next baby section , ran to the toilets to find I’d come on. Severe cramping follows as do some huge clots. I put it down to accumulation after such a long delay. Today still clotting and noticed grey/brown/pink lumpy clot.

As of two hours ago all cramps have disappeared and flow seems to have steadied.

Does anybody have any thoughts ?

Thank you.

I think the tests would have been positive on Friday if you were far enough along to have a heavy, clotting bleed caused by miscarriage.

If you’re worried, see your GP, or if any of the clots were approaching plum-sized.

I agree with the previous poster. Unfortunately there’s no way of knowing for sure but I would have thought that you would have a positive when you tested.
