How to have a more positive mindset?

I am in a negative cycle due to personal issues and work stress. This is doing me no favours and I need to get out of this cycle. I know exercise will help so I will make time for classes and get back out walking. Constantly tired and defeated. Is there any books or courses people could recommend? Thank You

ImDH recommends the (quite slim) book Stop Thinking, Start Living. It's made him think about his mindset and when that starts to slip he rereads bits. I got it from a recommendation on here.

I found The Happiness Trap very helpful. The approach is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and about accepting negative feelings rather than trying to stop yourself having them and moving towards things you value. And using mindfulness (I don’t do as much practice as I should).
