You know the thing to soak up the blood? I’ve cooked it for 3 hours the plastic is still intact and not melted.. can I still eat the meat and use the juices for gravy?

It’s a sulfite pad to preserve the meat.

As long as the plastic thing meat nappy is still intact its fine. I did much googling of this when pregnant and had made the same mistake.
