Dd has an absolute amazing imagination and I’m sure it’s from her older siblings. She’s currently pretending to drive her older sister to work, and being her mummy. It’s hilarous and I can’t remember the older two being this creative with their play.
She loves playing dogs/teachers/mummies & daddies.

Im guessing it’s normal at this age? I just love it though 😌

Only thing is, she won’t sit and play with normal toys! It’s driving me mad, she has loads of blocks etc but won’t sit for long enough to play with them 😂

My son that's the same age is the same (no siblings), absolutely loves pretend play as long as he doesn't have to sit still for too long Grin

Yes very normal, my DS has just turned 2 and likes imagination play, definitely helps when they have older siblings to encourage

I wouldn’t worry about the blocks
She is learning much more in her play than she would playing with blocks
Toys are over rated
It’s the language and communication that is important, as well as developing her imagination

I meant to say I find ds is much happier to sit and play with toys if I sit with him.
