I have always worried about things like use by dates etc & about getting food poisoning, although I have only been ill from something I’ve eaten a couple of times. The latest was the mushrooms on an Asda pizza counter pizza tonight. They definitely don’t taste like they normally do ( although I wonder if the red onion has something to do with it). They must be stringent on hygiene, how long they keep the toppings for etc but I still fret. The mushrooms tasted quite sharp. Can anyone identify with this? DH tries to be sympathetic but he gets exasperated as it happens quite often.
