What do you do on weekends if you don't have DC?

I have a DP, no DC. We recently moved to a new town where we don't know many people and I'm struggling to find things to do with my weekends once I'm done with the usual chores. DP is studying part time so he uses weekends to catch up on readings and I'm often left twiddling my thumbs. I feel like I'm just wasting a lot of time scrolling through social media and MN and watching Netflix Blush but I genuinely don't know what else to do! I go to the gym during the week so I like to give myself time off on weekends and because we live in a small town Meetup groups are few and far between. I read books and go shopping but neither fill up huge chunks of time.

What on earth do I do to fill my time? I know people say 'get a hobby' but there's nothing that especially jumps out at me so I feel like I'd just be picking one out of a hat. What do people's weekends actually look like if you have no family or friends nearby and no DC?

I visit museums, grab and coffee and read a book. I also nip to the cinema once a month. I'm going to join a rambling group when the weather is more favourable.
