I'm moving house!!

I'm SO excited. I can't keep banging on about it in RL so I'm coming on here to shout "yippeee!" and grin and be ridiculously excited.

We rent, I have rented since I was 18. We will never be able to buy. We have done the horrid too small homes for years and have to keep moving because there is always a reason landlord needs the house back after a year/18 months. Lots of school moves for the kids and disruption for us.

Well we have finally found a house that is pretty guaranteed to be long term. I mean I know nothing is actually guaranteed, but this is about as close to certain as it gets. We have jumped through millions of referencing hoops as both self employed and got a call yesterday to say we had got it!

It's old, ramshackle and quirky but it's bigger than anything we have rented before, its the first house I'll ever have lived in that looks nice from the outside and I'm just so excited! Oh and it's got 2 loos!!! We go at the end of March so a loong wait but eeek!

Anyone else have a move coming up? Or any exciting news they want to squee about? I cant stop

samind yes! Both me and DH have woodwork related businesses so we will be making some lovely furniture for our new house which is also v exciting. DH does actual cabinets and I make log slice tables so between us we should be able to make it look fab.

Oh my goodness. I wish you lived beside me and we got to be best friends and you gifted me lovely pieces of furniture for presents 😂😂😂 joking! It sounds absolutely brilliant. there's nothing more exciting or stressful than moving. plus it's great it's a bit longer stay too 🙂 love when you first move in, you have like nothing and it's empty of character and photos and within a short time it becomes your home. It's great news OP!

Congratulations. I've possibly found a house to buy but not seen it internally yet as tenants being difficult.
