Is it just me? 'Celebrity' selfies when ill

For some reason Christine McGuinness made the news with her ridiculous 'I'm in hospital I'm sleeping but I'm taking my own photo' thing, with a patronising tag that we should all stay strong and be kind etc etc.

Have I lost the plot or is this just ridiculous? This to me screams attention seeker. I see this sort of thing so often these days. People in the public eye putting up helpful inspirational quotes telling us all how we should behave in the world because clearly we don't have a clue. Or telling us to keep going because dreams come when you work hard etc etc.

I don't do Facebook, I no longer have Twitter and now it seems I have to ditch Instagram because of these vacuous wankers that pop up followed by their gushy fans. It makes me feel ill.

I am not the only one..am I?! Confused

I haven't seen it but anyone posting pictures from hospitals etc are just attention seeking dicks

Didn’t have a clue who she was but thought the exact same thing when I read this story in my news app this morning. It makes me cringe.
