This letter came for my daughter. See attached pic.
I am very confused by it.
She was born in a different EU country but has a british passport, has lived here since she was 2.
Can anyone tell me if this is an actually legitimate process being undertaken by the NHS?
They want personal details like proof of address, work, council tax etc.
She has attended the hospital more than once.
I rang the number given and they said it was an initiative by NHS to ensure that everyone attending was entitled to treatment.
They have also spelled her name incorrectly which makes me wonder as well, though the language in the letter sounds about right.
Anyone got any suggestions.
