DD is on the waiting list for her first choice, has an offer for her second choice. If she gets a space at the first, does she have to take it or would she get to pick between the two? Can she accept the second now and forget the first?

If she wants second choice you need to let them know now. If she gets allocated first choice from the waiting list then she will lose the space at the second choice. It will go to another child.
