Has anyone tried morphine for arthritis?

I'm 33 and have psoriatic arthritis. I'm off methotraxate to try for a baby. I'm on sulfazalazine and tramadol but still really struggle.
Has anyone tried morphine patches? Doctor suggested a while ago as something that I could try.

Hi Autumn I have PsA too and am on Morphine, but tablets and liquid, not patches. I’m on slow release tablets (50mg 12 hours apart) and then 5mg Oramorph liquid every 2 hours as needed for breakthrough pain.

I’m not sure about Morphine when TTC as it was actually having my DS that kicked my PsA off.

The Morphine does take the edge off the pain, especially at night but it doesn’t take it away completely in my experience.

Thanks for your reply. I was diagnosed when my son was 10 months old.
I'll see what my doctor says. Hopefully it can just take the edge off bad moments of pain.
