New Scientist Live or Big Bang Festival?

Anyone been to then?

New Scientist looks good but it's horribly expensive, plus train fares, and I'm not sure how much is aimed at pre-teens?

Big Bang Fest is free (I think) but we'd have to premier inn the night before and I worry there'd be huge queues to do everything.

I was at the Big Bang Fair, we've gone for years - I didn't think it was quite as good this year tbh, although we didn't do any of the shows.
