Hiya, just looking for some advice really as cant find the answer on google!
I currently claim universal credit, it has been fine for me never had any problems. My boyfriend is moving in next week, he does work full time, but we will still be entitled to UC as we are only NMW earners. Does anyone know if we have to make a brand new claim which will take 5 weeks plus? As our joint income wont cover all the bills (I have extremely high rent cost)
Starting to worry about it now, as obviously much better to live together but I am so worried about how we will make ends meet and getting into debt during those 5 weeks. I have 2 young children and only work part time so as not to drip feed, cant increase hours in my current role but am looking for new employment.
Or is it a simple add him to my claim and its easier then a brand new claim?
