I like murder / mystery but nothing too gory. Real life stuff, historical dramas etc.

Loved the letdown, and have just started the crown.

Any other recommendations please?

Just started the chilling adventures of Sabrina. It is significantly darker than Sabrina the teenage witch!

You should really keep going with Homeland. I couldn’t stop watching it and can’t wait for the final series which is due here in April.

My user name is homage to my greatest new Netflix discovery, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. A friend of mine mentioned it, I watched one episode and was hooked!

Need to keep an eye on this thread. New to Netflix and so lots to watch

SileneOliveira · 02/03/2019 08:16

If you don't mind reading subtitles (or happen to speak Spanish) both Money Heist (Casa de Papel) and Mar de Plastico are excellent.

Ozark

You

Nelumbo · 02/03/2019 08:41

The Sinner definitely.

Glad this thread came up, I don't get a chance to watch Netflix that often, but have a rare day without kids today so am going to go through these suggestions and watch something.
I think I'm gonna try the staircase as heard alot about that.

Frankie and Grace with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and the bloke from Law and Order.

Excellent show

Place marking

FoofFighter · 03/03/2019 13:42

Line of Duty

Fargo

GBBO

Peridot1 · 03/03/2019 13:46

Place marking too. I do wonder how people seem to get through so many more series than we do but we spend months watching Australian Masterchef and My Kitchen Rules.

My Netflix recommendation is Peaky Blinders if you haven’t already seen it. I know it was on BBC2.

MadMum101 · 03/03/2019 13:49

The Punisher
Good Girls

Sallyspoons · 03/03/2019 13:56

The Assassination of Gianni Versace is very good

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 03/03/2019 14:01

Orphan Black is fab
Russian Doll
Maniac
Glitch
The OA
Stranger Things
The Good Place

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 03/03/2019 14:02

The Rain is good but turn it onto subtitles because the acting is good but the voice overs spoil it.

luckylavender · 03/03/2019 14:06

The Crown

Gina2012 · 03/03/2019 15:53

I must push through the staircase. I watched 15 minutes and got irritated - can't even remember why, now Confused

Gina2012 · 03/03/2019 15:55

I'm actually watching The Blair Years on Youtube atm. It's very good

Does anyone else feel guilty when they use another forum on which to watch?

I feel I should always use Netflix as I'm paying for it Blush

Aquamarine1029 · 03/03/2019 15:57

I binged all eight episodes of Russian Doll yesterday. Thought it was brilliant.

Have now started Dirty John and Queer Eye
