90 minutes is long enough to have a meal out isn’t it?

Dinner tomorrow with friends. Have asked my mum to have Dc for me but I’ve realised they’re both at a hobby and I would have 90 minutes to eat and could collect meaning my mum wouldn’t have to babysit at all. Should I cancel with her? Or would I be rushing myself?

It's probably tight, depends where you go I suppose. Have you chosen a venue?

I don't think you'd enjoy it. You'd be watching the clock rather than engaging with your friends. Could you go out for dinner earlier so you have more time?

ILoveMaxiBondi · 28/02/2019 17:55

Yes it’s all booked. Only issue would Be if either friend was running late which is a possibility.

The table is booked for 7 and the hobby club starts at 7. It’s in the same town so just a few minutes between dropping DC off and getting to restaurant.

Perhaps if you let your friends know what to order for you and get that done before you arrive. Otherwise does seem a bit tight timewise.

Can you mum not get them from their club?

ILoveMaxiBondi · 28/02/2019 18:12

Yeah I think i’ll Just leave things as they stand and then I won’t be worrying about rushing.

She can but she lives 2 minutes away and I thought it would save her a journey if it wasn’t necessary.

Speak to her, my parents would love an opportunity to "peak" in at clubs my children do, but otherwise just let her and enjoy your relaxed evening.

I’ve asked her and she says she’s happy to come in so that’s that Grin thanks everyone.
