Early menstruation

I have 3 daughters, a 15yr old and 2 11yrs old and all of them have started their periods really young. Is it true that there is a danger to the uterus growing out to other organs in their body? All my children developed far faster than their friends and their bodies at 11yrs look like they 15yrs. I on the other hand am very under developed, I am only just over 5ft, flat chested and look about 10yrs from behind, I didn't start my periods till almost 15yrs. I'm concerned about their health physically aswel as mentally because they've all had the pressure of this and it obviously is embarrassing for them, emotionally I think they've had much more to deal with than most kids their age. Should I be worried?

What age did they actually start? Early puberty is puberty starting before age 8

P.s. my dd started periods age 11 but had other body development for a while before that

Most of my daughter’s friends had started by 11. Lots of girls of this generation starting at 9 or 10.

I started at ten and have never heard of any of this.

Well what age were they?

Uterus growing out to other organs in their body doesn't sound possible.

Surely the uterus only gets bigger if there is a baby in there? What have you been reading?

BarbedBloom · 28/02/2019 14:44

I started just before 11 and it wasn’t a cause for concern with my GP, average age according to him. What age did they start?

What age did they start?

As Demented says your uterus only grows when you're pregnant (& certain other reasons such as fibroids).
