Toy arrived resealed - would you keep or send back?

I've ordered some playmobil for a birthday present. One of the sets has come in a box where the playmobil stickers (see through with "playmobil" on) sealing it shut have been cut at some point and they have similar shape see through stickers covering them to reseal them (but the stickers aren't playmobil ones). Does this mean it's a set that someone has already bought and returned?

I've opened it up and everything looks like it's there and the smaller bits are still bagged so my logical side says bugger it save the faff of returning it and buying it again, and keep it. My picky precious side says send it back and get one that hasn't potentially been opened because it's a birthday present and I want to know it's all new new new.

What would/do you do in situations like this?

Disclaimer: I know it's a very first world problem but I struggle with contamination MH so would love to see what other people would do in this scenario.

It could have been done in the factory at the end of the production line when they realised something was missing. Not necessarily by a customer?

I'd want it properly sealed if it's for a Birthday Present.

I'd contact the retailer for a discount.

If it's a birthday present for my child I'd keep it, if it's for someone else I'd potentially return in case they thought it wa second hand or I was being tight.

This, if I'm being honest, and only if I was 100% sure nothing was missing.
