Is there a factory in Glasgow which produces IT men called Graham?

Has anyone else came across this phenomenon? I swear that in every place I've worked the IT man has been a Glaswegian Graham.

I hardly ever encounter Grahams at all, which is such a shame, it's a great name.
At work most IT peeps are called Lee, Rebecca or Craig (=early 30s i think?)

Ours are mostly Dave or John. However, I do have a friend called Graham who is from Glasgow (not in IT though).

Yep, I know a Glaswegian IT person called Graeme.

I've worked in IT for more than 20 years and have NEVER met a graham of any sort, let alone Glaswegian. I feel cheated.

Our IT manager is an English Graham. Maybe he’s got Scottish ancestry?

I'm Glaswegian and work in IT but don't know any Graeme's.

Edinburgh rather than Glasgow but have had Graeme and Graham leading the Networks team in the years I've been in current company.

It's next to the one which produces Scottish handymen called Derek and Colin.

But I agree IT men are unnaturally likely to be Dave.

Most Scottish Grahams spell it Graeme.

I had a brief spell working in a highways team and there are an alarming amount of Kevin's who work in highways!

I know several Graham's. One is in IT.

All Glaswegians.

Pretty much everyone in my office is called Stephen, Andrew, Dave, Keith or Ken. All 200 of them.

Our IT guy is a Glaswegian called Graham.

There are a LOT of Grahams in Scotland though. And a surprising amount of youngish men called Gordon and Malcolm
