Can sertraline cause problems with periods ?

Started sertraline in January , had a normal bleed middle of the month . Then I had a 12 day bleed that finished 2 days ago - very heavy . I’ve now started my period all over again with heavy bleeding this morning . Side effects does say can cause heavy bleeding and changes to menstruation but doesn’t really specify how long that would last . I normally have problematic periods anyway so don’t want something that’s going to make them a thousand times worse ! Just wondering if anyone has had similar :-(

Thanks - think I will do , I’m flooding and don’t need another week of this after a fortnight already this month . I’ve got tranexamic acid meantime that I’m taking so hopefully that helps .
