My dozy mistake of the day

I've worked a lot of days without a day off, I'm quite tired.
This evening I made dinner sausage mash & gravy
It only dawned on my half way through eating that something was wrong.
I hadn't boiled the kettle and we were eating cold gravy on our dinnerBlush
Neither DH or DS mentioned it
Day off tomorrow thankfully Grin

By using cold water not hot Hmm

OP that sounds remarkably like something I’d do! Today I chucked a plate on the recently turned off hob...we are now down a plate!

They definitely dissolve in cold water, not as quickly and you get the odd lump but they definitely do.

I only know this from DC making soup in the sink from an entire pot of gravy granules and cold water Hmm
