Slendertone bottom and thigh toner

Anyone used one of these? On a fitness kick and have joined a gym and following a healthier diet. I generally need to lose a stone which I have done before but bum area is always the problem. Have classic pear shape small waist but bigger butt and thighs. So just wondering do these things actually do anything or are they just a gimmick?

I bought one when they first came out, must be 15 years ago and I could hardly even feel anything, should have returned it as it may have been a faulty one.

I have been thinking about getting one again but am not good at keeping up with things like that lol.

I have just started 30 day squat challenge and hoping `i can stick to that and have just started a thread asking if anyone had good results with it.

That's annoying you don't know for sure if it was a faulty one or not. Good luck with the squats challenge. Maybe we should compare results in 4-6 weeks Slendertone vs real workout Smile

I have found it does, but my muscles were always very responsive to training and would already feel firmer after 2 or 3 gym sessions after a long break. I am only using it because medical problems are restricting the actual exercise I can do. I use it turned up high so it basically clenches hard involuntarily. No experience of using it whilst doing other exercise, which must feel different and use a lower setting.

This thing exercises muscles rather than burning fat - it is not a cardio device. Though the waist one can reduce waist circumference by strengthening the muscles, meaning you naturally pull them in more.

Thanks Federica that's good to hear. I have ordered one so hopefully I'm not wasting my money.

Lets compare notes then Highland, it will keep me motivated lol.

My husband bought a cheaper version of the Slendertone stomach exerciser which is quite good as the pads are rubbery and you just put gel on them whereas the Slendertone ones need replacing every so often.

You're on superstar I have only just ordered it today so will be a few days before I start. Guess I should take my measurements beforehand. I'll look for you in a month or so Smile

Not a good start the shorts arrived today and I can't get them on properly they are clearly made for already tiny people, what a disappointment. Meanwhile DH is muttering under his breath they won't work etc. Not sure whether to return them or lose a few pounds before trying I think half a stone and they would fit.
