Question about matched betting?

Last year I managed to reclaim over £5000 back in ppi and I am using that money to tide me over while I change careers from office based to self employed from home. DP is also helping to support me which is great.

It will be a while until I am earning so I'm interested in trying matched betting to try and earn a bit of extra cash to put towards a holiday or any extras. I have had a read at some threads on here and elsewhere and I think I would set up a new bank account and pay for one of the guide sites to make it all a bit easier.

My question is this, how much time does the matched betting take you? I am now at home most days mon - fri so could make some time during the weekday to do this but I obviously want to be spending a good bit of time on my work. I also don't have much time to spend on it at the weekends as I am quite busy then and out of the house a lot. Can I set up the best for the weekend on the Friday or do the offers only come through on the saturday?

How much time would I realistically have to spend to make say £200 a month? I am up for doing it but don't want to be a sweaty, obsessed mess sitting endlessly at my computer for hours every day to make £200 a month.

After learning the ropes, is matched betting something I can sit down for a 2 -3 hours a week, calmly put on a few bets, then forget about it get on with my life until the next session or does it inevitably take over your life?

You can definitely earn £200 per month with a few hours effort. I work full time so usually do an hour or so in the evenings (not every evening, sometimes there is nothing worth doing!) and maybe a bit more on a Saturday when there is lots of football and horse racing on.

I've made over £300 in Feb and I think I've had a bad month as its half of what I made in Jan.

However much time you can give it is the honest answer.

Profit Accumulator is quite good for making matched betting idiot proof, and they have a free trial.
