This happened a couple of weeks ago. Turned out to be training/practice flight

I would guess at a test flight given the destination?

We get the big Hercules practising landing and takeoff at St Mawgan quite often, fun to watch.

I'm sitting in the garden watching planes flying overhead - BA 747s from San Diego and Phoenix have just gone over.

We get the Hercules here too doing the landing and last minute abort at LBA, my old office had the best viewpoint for it!

I saw it coming into LBA last week on my way to my mums, she lives practically next door to the airport. Actually had to pull the car over Cos I couldn't keep my eyes of the skies 😂
