New Kaspas just opened in our area. Would you recommend?

Bought a Victoria sponge cake for £2.75 this morning from Sainsburys & looking on the Kaspas website it's double that for one slice.

Is it value for money?

DD who's 15 loved it when we went at half term. Personally I'd be happy never to go again.

Having said that the waffles were enormous and we couldn't eat a whole one and were well presented. There is also a huge amount of sugar in them which made me feel a bit funny after.

She'd love to go again but I might encourage her older sister to take her next time.

Overpriced IMHO, been once ok, but wouldn’t rush back personally.

Disappointing- cheap ice cream and ingredients and overpriced eg my hot fudge sundae was a bit of stale hot fudge cake jammed into a dish with some mediocre ice cream on top and loads of aerosol cream

Cheers, I kind of expected this would be the case. It's definitely my kinda place as I love desserts but equally I don't like feeling ripped off. I saw they charge an extra £1 if you want a "side" with apple pie. I'm pressuming by "side" they mean custard/cream/ice cream which everywhere else would be included so abit of a piss take really. Don't think we'll bother 🍩

I went to Kaspas and ordered New York Cheesecake. Paid £1 for whipped cream.
The cream turned out to be aerosol cream (which I think has no place in any restaurant or eatery) I felt very pissed off and ripped off to be honest.
We have an Italian ice cream parlour, which make their own ice cream on site. Their sundaes are absolutely gorgeous with lashings of freshly whipped cream. No aerosol cream in sight.
I will never go to Kaspas again.
