Call she never made

My DS is having problems due to her call log showing a 4 minute call to someone she regularly rings, at a time she couldn't have made it. Anyone wiser than me about this sort of thing? How is this possible?

That's a pocket call. The other persons voicemail would have ended the call after about 4 minutes.

Not a pocket call, she was watching a film with me, the phone was in her bag.

If she regularly rings that number, why doesn’t she ask the person who she phoned what happened?

My friend and her DH were on a shared contract and once his call history showed up on her phone history. Sharing the same iCloud/Apple account or something or another?!

Funnily enough, his call history was to his OW and he is now her exDH! Hmm

Is it possible that the timing on the call log is a mistake? I know that can happen with texts.

Given there’s no helpful detail here...

Is she using you as a cover not to have been able to do it because she was watching a movie with her Mum, but could have done it when you went to get a drink or use the loo?

Is it an abusive man situation? The solution is to get rid of him, not to find a way to placate him.

I think that's at least partly why the OP can't give any info. Presumably someone needs (or has decided they need) to police it for 'difficult' reasons.

I've never heard of it giving a wrong time for a call, I've seen texts be delayed arriving

Does she ever put her phone on flight mode? That can bugger up timings with texts received, not sure about calls though.

Does she play games on her phone and adjust the time? I'll put my phone forward two hours to get extra lives for Candy Crush. If I make or receive a call or text during that time, it'll show up that it happened at the new time.

is the call supposed to have been answered? if it was you can double check against phone company records. Either way the other number should also have a log, you might have to look at contacts to access the info on received calls, is this something you can access?
my timings of missed calls get messed up if my battery has discharged so my message says I missed a call at say 22.35 when the call was earlier and I have the voice mail to tell me that, the 22.35 corresponds to when I charged up phone, so I assume this doesn't apply as ( I don't get duration of call info for this as it was missed) and she didn't charge up phone from flat when you are in middle of film. i'd still say the phone was used elsewhere , how do you know it was in her bag, she didn't go to loo, etc.
