Muscle pain under mole... please help.

Hi all,

Please don't flame me for asking on here and not just booking a GP appointment.

I have a mole on the back of my right thigh. I went to the doctors a couple of months ago to have them check a few of my moles because they are itchy from time to time. I was told the moles looked perfectly healthy. It wasn't until I got home from the doctors that I realised i had forgotten to mention something. From time to time I get a pain in the back of my right thigh. Whenever this pain comes, it's from the exact place where the mole is. It doesn't feel as though the pain comes from the mole, more as though it comes from the muscle directly underneath. It's not a particularly sore pain, but it is always in the same spot.

I am a previous sufferer of health anxiety and basically I'm feeling extremely panicky just now and have convinced myself there's something seriously wrong.

I will be booking a GP appointment and will discuss my anxiety with them as well as the pain. I just wondered if anyone could offer any advice or reassurance in the mean time? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Thanks.

I get this but it’s my calf (also not a mole, it’s a red blood blister type thing that’s been there for years)

The gp said unless the pain was persistent then not to worry 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I’m trying to forget about it

Mama sorry, this is probably a silly question but I'm just wondering, do you know what he meant by persistent? I've had this pain come and go for a quite a while. A couple of weeks could pass where I don't notice it and then I can notice it again. Always in the same place.

I do wonder if there's a chance that the pain that I'm feeling is just an everyday sort of pain but because I have a mole there, I'm noticing it more. If that makes any sense?
