Small furries. Name for a male trio needed.

Am adopting 3 male rats from the Rspca.

Any idea for names?

I haven't got any pics of my own yet. Met them today but didn't get any.

They're going to be castrated and chipped then they can come home.

They are gorgeous! I'm guessing the middle and left are roans (love roans!) so Lux, Lumen and Albens? Or other words that might translate to light or bright in different languages?

I didn't realise they'd chip rats, how interesting. Or that they would castrate them!

But I'm glad as hormones can cause tumours so it will significantly reduce the risk of tumours.

But the chipping I thought was very odd! Makes sense I guess

Yes 2 roans I think the cream fella may be a rex but I didn't really get a chance to check his whiskers for curls.

They were timid but friendly and I even got a lick from a roany so that sealed the deal for me. I melted.

Tumours aren't so much an issue in boys and generally you need to spay females before 12 weeks for it to be effective for them. I wonder if it's to prevent breeding from them, it is a big issue with back yard breeders but given how many free rats you can get on gumtree I don't see people going to the bother of going to the rspca and potential costs and checks to get them.

Too cute though, I have never had roans but always wanted them!

I originally wrote 'My gerbils were Mocha, Caramel and Latte because of their colouring' but I deleted that line before posting because those names are too feminine for the OP to use!

When I was little a friend gave me a white teddy for my birthday. I told my mum I was going to call it 'Pandy'. She pointed out it wasn't a panda because it didn't have any black on it, to which I responded 'He's black on the inside!' So you never know, maybe OP's rats are green on the inside!!
