Run to the hills
No you aren't overreacting, run to the hills
Woman up and say NO

Look after yourselves MNers - I think this site is brilliant for when you really need support or to be told you aren't mad. It just sometimes makes me sad that so many of us are labouring under this idea of ourselves as powerless and oppressed, still.

“Oh don’t be silly”
“It’s almost always cock up not conspiracy”
“Will you care about this thing this time next year?”
“Yep it is sexism/misogyny/ the patriarchy. Crap, ian’t It? Remind me again why you aren’t a feminist?”

When I see title questions like, "How do I get him to treat me with respect?" then it it hard not to just type LTB in great big capitals.

"Is this abuse?" always seems to be a great big YES as well, depressingly. By the time people start asking themselves that question then you can be pretty sure of the answer.
