Help 1930s costume for 11 year old

For world book day my daughters class have been asked to dress up in something from the 1930s.

I am struggling to find ideas. She is 11 but wears age 13 clothes.

This so the first year I've really struggled for ideas

Any idea or help would be much appreciated . TIA

Evacuee? Wrap a small box in brown paper attach string to the sides so she can wear it round her neck as a gass mask box

Amelia Earhart? Would need leggings and boots and a dark jacket and some sort of hat with ear flaps and big goggles
