Hello - I think I know the answer but is Eurodisney horrendously busy at the weekend? Thank you.

Yes and at all times.

Wendalicious · 25/02/2019 20:42

I thought that may be the case!

It's always busy, especially at weekends. January / February will be quieter, but that's because there's a good chance it will be raining and very cold, so depends whether you could put up with that for less queueing.

Thanks! Wish it was just cheaper and less busy Hmm

Yes always, though on rainy days in January it's quieter than hot August ones I suspect. Was a nightmare 3 years ago when we last went, never again

Nicknacky · 25/02/2019 21:12

Does it need to be Disney? I’m going to Efteling in Holland this year and it’s so so much cheaper then Disney.

Did Disney last year and found it busy and horrendously expensive. Over rated in my opinion.

Wendalicious · 25/02/2019 21:14

I've just got it in my mind that we should go! Is it really so much better than Alton Towers etc? Thank you for comments x

We just took the kids out of school (twice!) to do it.
Once in April and once in May. We did mon-Thur too. No mad queues except for Ratatouille which seems to be mad all the time.
It’s such a fun place, sigh.

notanothernam · 25/02/2019 21:21

We went October half term, we queued lots during the day, but got on loads of rides during early magic hours and evening, didn't ruin it for us.

notanothernam · 25/02/2019 21:22

And yes doesn't compare to Alton Towers!

notanothernam · 25/02/2019 21:22

Because it's so much better by the way!

ballsdeep · 25/02/2019 21:23

Beautiful weather there now!

Summeriscomin · 25/02/2019 21:24

It’s amazing.

We went Friday to Monday in November. Spent 2.5 days in the park. Got on most rides we wanted to. Took advantage of the fast pass thing.

Best weekend of my entire life. Purely for the kids of course.

Lucylugs · 25/02/2019 21:37

We went on weekend including a bank holiday. At 6 o'clock on bank holiday Monday everyone cleared out but the place was open till 10.00 pm. We spent four hours there just going on every ride without a queue. That's a few years ago so maybe it's not the same now.

Nnnnnineteen · 25/02/2019 21:38

Been twice - first time stayed in a Disney hotel and spent a bloody fortune. Second time, stayed off site, spent significantly less and did not feel we had any less of a good time for it. We went oct half term both times and while busy, it wasn't any busier than any other such place.

Budsbegginingspringinsight · 25/02/2019 22:30

Stay off site and get annual pass. It's the cheapest way of doing it.

However. .. whilst it's good fun , there are much more magical theme parks out there.

The efteling in Holland is cheaper and nicer.

Europa park Germany etc

MsTSwift · 25/02/2019 22:35

We thought it was abit crap tbh. Paultons park much better.

Montybabe · 25/02/2019 22:55

I second Europa Park....fab and queues are manageable

Wendalicious · 26/02/2019 13:20

Thanks all, I'm really not sure I can take them out of school - I feel too guilty but think I'll have a panic attack if too busy x
