Aargh - how to get tomato sauce stains off an acrylic/cotton jumper

It’s on a yellow bit. Not ketchup but a meatball sauce from a pret wrap. Aaaaargh. Nearly all of the jumper is navy blue. And it hit the pale yellow bit. It says wash as wool on the label.

Peg it out in direct sunlight, might need to leave it a day or two but the sun will bleach it out.

Just leave it in a sunny windowsill for a few days if you can't peg it out easily

Use something like Vanish on it, wash as normal, then dry in sunlight. Doesn't matter if it's cloudy.

Thank you! Here’s hoping. It was a charity shop purchase but brand new with tags etc and it was the first time I wore it!

Soak for 12+ hours in cold water with bio detergent.
