Which films did you love as a child?

Especially if you wanted to watch them again and again?

Some of mine were:
Mary Poppins: I watched it recently, still as wonderful and whimsical as ever. I saw it so many times as a child.
Wizard of Oz.
Home Alone.
Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (Gene Wilder).
Clue - I loved its wit, despite its murderous nature!

Didn't have VCRs when I was small, so not so easy to watch again & again!

My early faves were Blazing Saddles & Star Wars.
DC bored at Mary Poppins, Wiz of Oz, most classics from < 1970.

Love it.

We used to be allowed to choose a video alternating months to rent. I rented Annie, my sister rented The Neverending story.

Once we had films taped from the TV we watched Mary Poppins a lot.

I watched all the musicals with my Aunt on a Sunday afternoon; Calamity Jame, The King and I, Sound of Music, 7 brides for 7 brothers etc.

I also loved Clockwise that the OP mentioned.

Someone else here brought up in the dark Ages. No video and very little TV (actually not that bad really). I was simultaneously scared by and loved The Singing ringing Tree. I loved Camelot and a film about Jack Shepherd, starring Tommy Steele. And a film about Oliver Cromwell starring Richard Harris. But we consumed films differently then -watching them once and that was it.
When we had young children we used to watch Blazing Saddles, the 5th Element, The Sword in the Stone and The Swiss Family Robinson a lot.
They loved Drop Dead Fred which I thought was vile.
